Toshiba has unveiled the thinnest tablet yet, and it is named as ‘Excite X10’. However, the firm held the thinnest tablet with the Excite X10 is a full 0.6mm thinner, measuring 7.7mm, compared with the Prime’s 8.3mm profile.
The company has announced its thinnest tablet yet Excite X10 on Sunday. The tablet is not only the thinnest one and also the lightest tablet to date, coming with much light weight than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, in exact to be 0.4 pounds. The Excite X10 is designed in such way that that of tablet design philosophy. But, yet it still makes room for some micro connections like Micro-HDMI, Micro-USB 2.0, and a microSD card slot, and also finds built-in speakers.
Excite also supports Toshiba’s SRS sound enhancement technology, with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and an LED backlight 5-megapixel back camera. However, Toshiba Excite X10 will be available in the market from mid first quarter, with price tag of $530 for the 16GB which is the starting price while the higher and upgraded version of 32GB costs $600.
