Buffalo adds a new HDD to its gadgets. The news Buffalo HDD comes with a good storage capacity of 1TB. This Buffalo gadget falls under the MiniStation HD-PXT series of HDD’s.
Along with the storage capacity, this Buffalo gadget comes with good number of features such as a wrap-around USB 2.0 cable, a built-in 256-bit AES hardware encryption and TurboPC/TurboCopy for improved transfer speeds and backup software.
This Buffalo 1TB storage device has been tagged at a price tag of $169. Stay tuned for more updates.

I-O Data External HDD: Another gadget from I-O Data is its new USB 3.0 external HDD. This external HDD from I-O Data has been announced as HDJ-UT2.0. It provides a storage capacity of ‘2TB’ with a mind blowing speed that is provided by the Super Speed USB 3.0.
This HDD from I-O Data looks good in a small size package which measures 46mm x 223mm x 155mm and weights around 1.6kg. The size of the gadget would be something around 3.5-inch and would provide the best speed with USB 3.0. The transfer of the data takes place at a speed of 139MB/s.
This super speed HDD from I-O Data has been tagged at a price tag of 29,600 Yen and would be available in Japan by last week of April.

Marshal Japan easily clone Sony PS3 hard drives sans computer through MAL-2235SBK Double Rack USB/ eSATA. The device contains as a regular HDD docking station and connects to the PC or Mac via USB or eSATA. The MAL-2235SBK can hold either 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch hard disk drive. Cost of this Marshal Japan’s latest Double Rack USB/ eSATA for 7,950 Yen ($91).

Samsung is ready to release updated version of its STORY Station. Its external hard drive that comes with the eSATA interface offering a fast data transfer speed of up to 3Gbps. It is available in 1TB, 1.5TB, and 2TB of storage capacities. The 3.5-inch Story Station made with aluminum and features Samsung’s low standby power design. The storage device is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 interface with a slower transfer rate of 40Mbps, which reduces standby power by 96% to 0.1W from the usual 2.5W. The cost of 2TB model is $299.
