Apple Magic Trackpad Teardown by iFixit

Posted on 30 July 2010 by Elizabeth

Soon after Apple released the Magic Trackpad, it goes through a tear down by the folks at iFixit. It might have taken a couple of minutes to tear down the Apple’s Magic Trackpad which is nothing but a replacement for the mouse. The Trackpads can be called as a next generation for the mouse.

The iFixit guys also reveal that the Trackpad need much force and heat to tear it apart, since the glue used by Apple is tough enough to handle the Trackpad for harder situations. The tools used to dismantle the Trackpad are Heat gun or hair dryer, Soldering Iron, Spudger, Tweezers, etc.

If you would like to purchase a Magic Trackpad and dismantle it into pieces then you need the above tools to do the needful. Check out the images below.
