Fring 2 way Calling App VS iPhone 4 Facetime: Fring released its updated app on Thursday which comes with the two way calling feature. Earlier, Fring, he joint VoIP-and-multinetwork IM client, also offered the one way calling feature which was great and with the updated app with the two way calling feature, Fring brings out its best features.
The iPhone 4 is known for its front facing camera and the Facetime feature that helps users to have a video chat. Both these two application when put together, it was clear that the battle is going to be very interesting.
Fring when tested with the calling over 3G responded really well as it uses the 3G connectivity such as Skype and others. The only thing that was differing from the Facetime app of iPhone 4 would be a smaller video of the user as the rest of the screen was covered with the Fring’s app.
The iPhone 4 Facetime gives you the utmost output with the much bigger picture with a wider view of the person calling you. The first round was won by iPhone 4 Facetime as it gives better picture.
Next comes Fring’s app which does not allow the users to swap between the camera and the calls as it is possible with the Facetime app of iPhone 4. The second has also been taken by Facetime as iPhone provides the user with the swapping feature that allows the user to swap between the camera and video call.
The most flexible feature from Fring is that it works on different platforms as the Facetime works only on the iPhone 4. As both the apps look damn cool, we leave it to the users to decide the best thing around. Do share your views with your comments.
