Rogers announced the blackberry Torch smartphone, known as Blackberry torch 9800. This is available from September 24, 2010. The new blackberry torch 9800 is having QWERTY keyboard and touch screen display.

Black Berry Torch 9800 is providing new features and it is having OS 6 and webkit browser. This helps the user with faster web browsing. This provides a 3.2 inch touch screen and resolution of 360X480.

It has a 5-megapixel camera and 161.59g weight. It supports up to 32 GB micro SD card, 512 MB internal flash memory, 4GB built in storage memory.

Blackberry Torch 9800 is available in Canada on September 24th, 2010. This has been tagged at a price tag of $200CAD ($188) on a three-year contract.
