Android 2.2 Froyo: AT&T and DELL together have announced that they will be releasing their Android 2.2 Froyo, which will be updated officially on January 12, 2010. This would be a gift of Christmas.

Apple iTunes: App store has introduced 300,000 applications for Apple iTunes till now and all the 300,000 applications (paid and unpaid iTunes) are available for download.
The total applications of Apple iTunes are 300,975 apps and this figure was recognized by the MobClix. MobClix makes out 206,828 apps as paid iTunes and 94,147 apps as unpaid iTunes.
TrouserMac finds 334,639 apps in app store and concluded that only 278,723 apps are available for download and 55,916 apps are not available.
The major apps in app store are Books (16.8%), Games (16.6%), Entertainment (11.4%), Education (7.2%), Lifestyle (6.4%), Utilities (6%), Travel (5.9%) and Music (4%).
