Untethered jailbreak allows your devices to run code and applications that are not legal by Apple; this indicates that you can do many more things with your device than what it really offers. In simple, Untethered means that the device stays jailbroken even after it is reset.
The team at Chronic Dev has as well released the Windows version of the jailbreaking tool known as Greenpos0n Absinthe. Similar to Mac, the windows version is easy to use and offers you with an untethered jailbreak for your iPhone 4S and iPad 2 running versions of iOS 5 or 5.0.1.
Joshua Hill, the Team member noted that creating a jailbreak was not an easy task for the Chronic Dev Team. In the Twitter he tweeted that it received over 10 million crash reports in the week after releasing the tool last month, cheering the team to exploit the possibilities of finding out a tool for both A4 and A5 devices.
Further Hill added that the team turn out to be real serious on creating a jailbreak for A5 devices when Apple released the iPhone 4S, last October. Therefore, demand for an untethered A5 jailbreak grew exponentially overnight.
