Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Devices Released as Nokia W7 and W8 Models

Microsoft Windows Phone 7 was releasing the much awaited smart phones. Nokia W7 and W8 are new models coming out with Microsoft Windows Phone 7 in 2011.

Microsoft Windows 7 is a unique position similar to the iPhone and Android. The Nokia W7 and W8 mobiles are the updated devices of Nokia X7 and X8. The hardware might be similar in the Nokia new models, but the Software will be entirely different with WP7. Reports say that, Nokia WP7 devices will be using Qualcomm chips. It will be running with Windows 7 operating system in W7 and W8 models. Nokia W7 and W8 are providing advanced features and latest technology.

Nokia W7 is providing 8 megapixels camera with auto focus and flash while Nokia W8 is coming out with a 12 mega pixel camera. Windows phone 7 devices are likely to support 1GHz and new processor Adreno 205 graphics chip. Microsoft is also planning the standard CPU from Qualcomm’s first generation Snapdragon chipset to second generation Snapdragon chipset. Windows 7 device will also feature 4 inch screen display with a combination of stainless steel and glass.

Recently, Nokia has suggested that the first Windows phone 7 would not come out until 2012, but now they are planning to release at the end of the 2011.

BlackBerry RIM Playbook Release On April 18

The ‘Research in Motion’ is launching the BlackBerry PlayBook on Tuesday 19th April and it is the latest BlackBerry PlayBook tablet coming out this year to hit the market.

BlackBerry PlayBook is developed by QNX has multi-tasking; the tablet will boast of Flash support and streamlined Operating System with full support for latest web standards. RIM is also named to be the one of the fasted tablet ever.

BlackBerry PlayBook is providing with 7 inch capacitive screen display with multi touch, 1 GHz Dual Core processing unit with Cortex A9, RAM 1GB, 5 mega pixels rear camera and 3 mega pixels front facing camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, HDMI, micro USB slots. It supports full HD video, audio playback and multitasking. BlackBerry PlayBook will face the tough competition with the Apple iPad 2.

The buttons on the BlackBerry PlayBook device are power, volume down, Pause/plat and volume up buttons. Playbook is designed with styling as Blackberry standards, as front look of the tablet has a single BlackBerry logo along with and camera.

It will be available in two versions 16GB memory for $499, 32GB memory for $599 and 64GB memory for $699. PlayBook will hit the stores on Tuesday 19th April, 2011.

Apple iPad 2 Strikes Glasses Free 3D For Head Tracking

Apple iPad 2 second generation iPad will get a glass free 3D using head tracking technology. It is based on the camera of the Apple iPad 2.

Jeremie Francone and Laurence Nigay are from the Laboratory of Informatics of Grenoble at the EHCI Research Center Group, they have successfully created a glasses free 3D experience on Apple iPad 2. They have provided the head tracking technology, which it will be using in front facing camera of iPad 2 with basic 3D graphics. It doesn’t need an accelerometer trusts only on the front facing camera of second generation iPad.

Glasses free 3D has been spreaded by Nintendo in its new 3DS portable gaming console and Apple also suggested that it could be implemented on glass free 3D gaming for the next generation iPod touch. Apple has shown a demo video, which it has shown the graphics on the iPad 2 screen display change according to the position of the user.

The video has providing the illusion of 3D objects moving on the screen display. The Glass free 3D video is amazing and the system uses only front facing camera of iPad 2. The Apple iPad 2 is good for video chat with family, friends and business associates.

T-Mobile G2x Smartphone, Will It Strikes The Market in April?

T-Mobile G2x is the most awaited Smartphone and the rumors of this smartphone have come to an end. T-Mobile has officially announced the price details and the release date of G2x Smartphone.

T-Mobile G2x is the first dual core smartphone and mobile which is coming out with LG. The device is first announced to feature an NVIDIA Tegra 2 none other than the LG Optimus 2x. G2x smartphone is providing four inch display screen with 480 x 800 resolutions, 1.3 mega pixels front facing camera, which it can be use like video chat and chat sessions on T-Mobile. G2x is equipped with Android Vanila Flavor.

Smartphone is outfitted with T Mobile video chat powered by Qik. Featuring dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2, running with the powerful horsepower of 1 GHz processor along with 512 of RAM, 8 mega pixels rare camera with LED flash and autofocus, which allows 1080p HD video recording. It has 8GB internal memory with micro SD card slot, which it will support up to 32GB memory, Bluetooth 2.1 and also has an in built 3.5 mm headphone jack.

T-Mobile is bringing out G2x Smartphone into the market on 20th April, 2011 for $199.99 with a two contract deal. It will be available on all T-Mobile stores.

iPhone Fresh Apps Photofeed, Cartoonatic And SciSpy

iPhone’s three fresh apps have been released today. One creates the cartoon-like pictures, the other created to dig all the photo feeds from Facebook and Instagram. The third app uses our photos to assist further scientific research. The three apps released on 7th April are Photofeed, Cartoonatic and SciSpy.

Photofeed App: Photofeed is the best way to discover the photos of our friends on Facebook, Flickr and more. It is the latest apps of iPhone that automatically connects us to our best buddy photos and easy flip of top photos of the day. iPhone has made a note that ‘Be careful! Photofeed is addictive. Don’t say that we didn’t warn you it very impressive’. This app allows us to see all of our friends’ photos organized into enjoyable streams, to see the Top Photos of the Day, Latest Profile Pics, and more. It allows us to stay up date with our closest friends by following them. We can receive e-mail or push notifications when they upload, like, comment on, or are tagged in a photo. Samsung and Visa Partnership for NFC Mobile Payments at 2012 Olympics

NFC, Near Field Communication Mobile payments is currently the hot cake in the Web and also fetching a very good competition in the market to introduce the NFC for their products by the Business giants. Here comes the latest news from Samsung and Visa, which today announced a new strategy to introduce the NFC Mobile Payment solution before, during and after the 2012 Olympics.

According to President and CEO of Samsung Electronics Europe, Seokpil Kim states that the mobile payment handset will be obtainable in the UK firstly, and later, they have the plans to expand the service to other countries in Europe and around the world, where contactless payment facilities are available in the near future.

Samsung, the multinational conglomerate corporation and Visa has revealed their new partnership for the NFC mobile payments at London 2012 Olympics. According to the reports, the 2 companies are going to release an Olympics and Paralympics Games mobile handset in London, which is armed with mobile NFC technology, Visa’s payment app and an extra-ordinary SIM card.

The upcoming Olympics and Paralympics Games mobile handset works with special applications. For instance: once purchased, you need to open the Visa application on your mobile handset and then hold it in front of a special contactless reader, that’s it the payment will be done instantly.

According to the reports from Visa, currently there are over 60,000 contactless readers in London and Visa, is ongoing to work with banks and retailers to increase its NFC foundation.

The first NFC-enabled phone equipped with Visa SIM card will be obtainable to Samsung and Visa sponsored athletes. In addition, it will also be obtainable to consumers through mobile operators.

On the other hand, no information has been revealed by either Samsung or Visa regarding the model of the phone or details about its price tag. However, Visa is currently rolling out its NFC mobile payment program in Australia, Brazil Canada, Czech Republic,  France, Hong Kong, Italy, Malaysia, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Slovakia, Switzerland, Turkey, the UK and the United states.

Google Strikes With +1 button to Search Results

Here comes the fresh news from Google the giant which is captivating on Facebook’s Like Button with a button of its own, known as the +1 Button.

Blog post from Google product manager, Rob Spiro who states that the Goal of Google is to provide its users the most relevant results in a very short time and the relevance is about relationships as well as words on webpages and that’s why Google recently started to include more information from people through Twitter, Flickr and other sites in Google search results.

According to the reports from Google, the giant is enabling its users to share recommendations with the world right in Google’s search results with the help of a +1 Button.

To give your recommendations or rating of the page, you need to sign into your Google Account and once done at Google.com search results you will find a +1 Button, which will be up right next to a link and beside to the current magnifying glass icon, which is used for Google’s Instant Previews feature.

And if a user likes the website, which they have visited they can rate the website or can share with the people whom Google has identified as friends or contacts by clicking the +1 Button. Once done, below the link on Google.com search results, you will be able to view the list of friends who have rated or clicked the +1 Button for that link.

However, currently the +1 Button option is available only to the selected users by Google, but very soon this option will available for everyone via Google’s experimental search site.

Google, the giant even states that adding the button to websites will be easy, giving Google fans the option of giving a +1 to participating pages outside of Google.com as well.

As you are aware, the entire system is alike to that of Facebook’s Like Button, which has rapidly spread over many popular websites across the internet, including the news agencies which are looking to increase online readership.

Lastly, Rob Spiro states that the beauty of +1’s is their relevance, which will guide the users to catch the right recommendations, at the right time and in the right format, as the ratings are coming directly from the people who are well known to them.

Google Trials NFC chips with MasterCard and Citigroup

Here comes interesting news about NFC chips, instead of using your credit card to purchase your goods, in very soon you can use your Mobile phone as your credit card. All you have to do is just to wave your mobile phone close to a device that reads your bank details, which makes the payment for the goods purchased. All this can be happen with the help of the NFC chips.

Near Field Communications (NFC) chips turns a mobile phone into a credit card (electronic wallet).

As you are aware, rumors with regard to Apple featuring NFC technology for its next generation iPhone 5. However, no words or confirmation from the company till now but the rumors are spreading so on.

According to the reports, Google is said to tie up its hands with MasterCard and Citigroup, to give a trial to the contactless payments in US on smartphones running the Android operating system. Although, Google’s involvement into mobile payments is in fact an attempt to enhance the company’s advertising business, as Google will not get any transaction fees for the transactions.

But it is a simple business strategy, where in Google will be able to offer retailers extra information regarding their customers and helps the retailers to understand and target their customers very easily. Although, Google will charge money for the advertisements!

Having imminent into consumer-spending procedures, Google is planning to offer their services to Groupon, Facebook or Yelp websites; who would be very much interested in such data.

AT&T Acquisition of T-Mobile USA Opposed By Sprint

Sprint Plans to Plead AT&T Acquisition of T-Mobile to Congress

Dan Hesse, CEO of Sprint Nextel has confirmed that their company plans to present its difficulties over AT&T’s acquisition of T-Mobile to Congress. In Orlando, Florida, at a wireless industry conference, CEO Dan Hesse stated that he considers the contract might harm the wireless industry as the joint company would have great power.

However, CEO of Sprint Hesse stated that Sprint will file its concerns to Congress during the plead review. While, the senior executive vice president of AT&T, Jim Cicconi, reacted to Dan Hesse’s statement in an e-mail stating that Sprint might have concerns, and AT&T would be glad to attend any concerns they present. Whether, it might be at Justice Department, the FCC or the Congress.

He even added that they have good and compelling answers; which policymakers would willingly understand that any company with whom AT&T vie, may not be particularly optimistic concerning no matter which makes AT&T a better contestant in the market of wireless.
