Posted on 23 January 2012 by James

Here strikes an end to the long awaited untethered jailbreak for Apple’s iPhone 4S and for iPad 2. Almost a year after the Cupertino California Company has launched the A5 processor, ten months after the release of the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S release after 3 months, the extraordinarily talented hacking team at Chronic Dev have cracked the long awaited untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S and the iPad 2.

Untethered jailbreak allows your devices to run code and applications that are not legal by Apple; this indicates that you can do many more things with your device than what it really offers. In simple, Untethered means that the device stays jailbroken even after it is reset.

The team at Chronic Dev has as well released the Windows version of the jailbreaking tool known as Greenpos0n Absinthe. Similar to Mac, the windows version is easy to use and offers you with an untethered jailbreak for your iPhone 4S and iPad 2 running versions of iOS 5 or 5.0.1.

Joshua Hill, the Team member noted that creating a jailbreak was not an easy task for the Chronic Dev Team. In the Twitter he tweeted that it received over 10 million crash reports in the week after releasing the tool last month, cheering the team to exploit the possibilities of finding out a tool for both A4 and A5 devices.

Further Hill added that the team turn out to be real serious on creating a jailbreak for A5 devices when Apple released the iPhone 4S, last October. Therefore, demand for an untethered A5 jailbreak grew exponentially overnight.

Posted on 17 January 2012 by James

"Samsung Galaxy Note Smartphone"Samsung Galaxy Note, the version of its pen-enabled 5.3-inch Android smartphone equipped with 4G connectivity is going to land on Verizon and this time it is going to strike the market as Galaxy Journal.

Quite fascinatingly, this breaks the trend of AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile carriers in USA getting one Samsung product at the same time as Verizon is left out, or vice versa, initially the Galaxy Note first lands on AT&T, secondly then it will land on Verizon, then the other two main carriers very soon after.

With regard to Galaxy S II, the AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile carriers got the device whereas Verizon held back as of the device which strikes the market soon after, the Galaxy Nexus, and then Verizon got the temporary exclusive on.

Well, for the late winter it is considered Galaxy Note as to be the biggest smartphone release, Verizon carrier was leap to attempt to take a hunk, and we are happy of it, as this indicates developers will be more suitable to create additional ROMs for the device currently that will be on at least three different release venues, which being AT&T, Verizon, and its worldwide version. Currently we have to see if Verizon will unveil a special edition Verizon Red version for the masses.

Samsung Galaxy Note is powered by 1.4GHz dual-core processor and 720p HD display integrated with excellent multimedia and gaming device. Regarding the OS of Samsung Galaxy S Note it is expected that the smartphone will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update in the 1Q of 2012.

Do you think Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone is going to be as much of a hit in the United States as it has been abroad so far? I guess it will.

Apple Rejects Sharp from its iPad 3 Display Supply Chain

Posted on 12 January 2012 by James

"Apple Rejects Sharp from its iPad 3 Display Supply Chain"Here strikes the latest reports from the Insiders who note that Apple, the tech giant has allegedly rejected Sharp from its iPad 3 display supply chain, as the company’s panels for the third-generation iOS tablet merely weren’t up to scratch.

According to the reports, LG and Samsung Display have grabbed the major roles in supplying the Cupertino California Company with what are projected to be high-resolution 2048 x 1536 screens for its forthcoming tablet, after Sharp failed to gain approval from Apple for mass production.

Last year, in November the rumors regarding sharp’s involvement in iPad 3 components was initially raised, subsequent reports earlier in 2011 that asserted that the Cupertino California giant was considering a $1billionn investment in a Sharp display plant. Well, the status of that likely investment is unknown, nevertheless, though Sharp persists to supply panels for Apple’s iPhone.

At least, the iPhone partnership is predictable to carry on, with reports that Apple will use the company’s displays for the sixth-generation iPhone that are likely to debut later this year. Such panels are alleged to use low-temperature poly-silicon technology for its lower power consumption and the truth that it allows thinner, lighter screens.

While Apple has been vulnerable by stock shortages with both its iPad and iPad 2, the company as well has a high standard of screen quality it insists on.

That standard has showed the way to issues in the past; with LG Display apparently stumble upon production concerns that forced the Cupertino Giant to temporarily stop its orders with the company, afterward alleged to be liable at least in part for a scarcity of units in the marketplace.
