Apple iPhone with Verizon Network: Apple will launch iPhone supporting with Verizon network after the CES- Consumer Electronic Show at Las Vegas early in the January.
Recently, we are familiar with the news and gossip that iPhone is coming with Verizon network; the increase of evidence suggests it would final release in 2011. The iPhone users will at last provide with verizon option other than AT&T.
Sources added that Apple in planning to hire 5 million to 6 million CDMA iPhones in the first quarter of 2011 as verizon network runs on CDMA. Apple had stopped the manufacturing of CDMA iPhones in October and it will begin the production of CDMA iPhones by the end of this year.
Apple is now facing tough competition in the smartphone market from Android as it is the highest selling smart phones. Android is comes in many models such as Droid Incredible, HTC Evo 4G and Samsung Epic. Price rate is also where Apple is facing a tough competition from Virgin Mobile Samsung Intercept which offers start from range of $25 per month while verizon can not offer for a low price.

Skype Allows Video Calling on iPhone: The internet phone company Skype is now adding a feature of live video calling on iPhone and iPad screens. The updated version is available form today, Skype announced.
This application which runs on iPhone, iPad and iPad touch will be able to make or receive video calls through Wi-Fi or 3G. Video calling can be done between any two devices such as Skype for iPhone application and desktop computers allowing Skype for Windows 4.2 and higher version, Skype for Mac 2.8 and above and also Skype for Linux.
The Skype is not charging any price for this application. Video calling uses QVGA; the video averages 15 frames per seconds for receiving and 12 frames per second for sending. Skype has overcome the competition from Cisco Systems, Google and Microsoft to release video calling over 3G or Wi-Fi. Sources added that, there will be an update for Android Smartphone in the New Year.
Skype is one of the top five free applications in 2010 as its download can be done atleast once for every four iPhone users. The company launched this application as New Year gift for iPhone and iPad users.

Samsung iPod Touch: Samsung is plans to release its new iPod touch in Consumer Electronics Show. Samsung iPod Touch is running with Android 2.2 Froyo.
According to sources, Samsung iPod touch will be available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB memory storage, and comes with 3.2MP rear facing camera with front facing camera for video chatting, Processor 1GHz Hummingbird. Apple iPad 2: Apple is plans to release Apple iPad 2 in three versions on 28 December, 2010. The three versions are coming with more advance features such as connectivity and increased touch screen settings.
According to sources, In the three versions of Apple iPad 2, one model will have only Wi-Fi, second model will be having UMTS-Universal Mobile Telecommunications System and Wi-Fi. The third model will be featuring with CDMA- Code Division Multiple Access, along with Wi-Fi connectivity. UTMS is a 3G technology working in United States by AT&T and T-Mobile. Verizon and Sprint use CDMA for 3G technology.
Recently, in October the Apple has updated some connectivity features of 3G that can be accessed only to AT&T network through iPad. So, the users have to use Verizon network Mi-Fi 2200 for web access. The updated Apple iPads will also increase the sensitivity of the touchscreen and screen reflection.
Sources say there is speculation that the iPad 2 will be released by the end of February. It will not be confirmed until the Apple makes its announcement early in the New Year.
