The WebOS tablet release date has been confirmed to be in the early 2011. The HP Vice President has confirmed that the WebOS tablet is set for a release date in early 2011. The Vice President of HP, Todd Bradley, confirmed that the Windows 7 tablet will be arriving late this year or could also arrive in early 2011.
The iPad killer from HP is nowhere in the coming months and looks like it’s going to be good time for the folks over Apple, as there is no tough competitor coming up until early 2011. The HP tablet was likely to be a competitor to the Apple iPad but we there is no tablet coming up from HP’s corner till late this year.

Intel has announced that it is purchasing McAfee for a hefty price of $7.68 billion in cash. The $7.68 billion in cash deal to purchase McAfee by Intel would pay $48 per share for the shareholders and 60% premium on the stocks which are currently priced for $30. Intel has announced the deal of purchasing the antivirus company, McAfee for $7.68 billion in cash.
“In the past, energy-efficient performance and connectivity have defined computing requirements. Looking forward, security will join those as a third pillar of what people demand from all computing experiences.” said Intel CEO, Paul Otellini.
The chip manufacturer has purchased the Antivirus maker and it is quite obvious that Intel is going to make use of it in a very efficient way. Stay tuned for more updates on the deal of Intel purchasing McAfee.
