Pentax Launches K-x entry DSLR with 720p video

Pentax K-x launches least expensive DSLR to shoot video and records 720p at 24 frames per second. Compared to the K2000, much improved 12-megapixel CMOS sensor that takes in more light and has a dramatically larger ISO range that normally sits between 200 and 6,400 but can extend to 100 and 12,800 with an override. K-x, burst shooting has accelerated from 3.5 frames per second to 4.7. Software now gives access to a high dynamic range mode that composites three photos together to expose the added detail, a 16-person face detection system, and 16 in-camera special effects that can be combined in the same shot.

The smartphone is recognized by its large 4.3-inche touchscreen and 480×800 screen resolution display that covers most of the front surface of the phone. This come with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU. The device will be running Windows Mobile 6.5, making it a Windows phone. Leo will include 320MB RAM, 512MB built-in ROM, Bluetooth and a 5MP digital camera with dual LED flash.

Sanwa USB-powered Pico Projector at $220

Sanwa comes with the pico projector market by releasing the 400-PRJ001. Its features are 62.1mm x 18.6mm x 89.3mm and weighing at only 85grams, the projector produces a VGA resolution and requires two USB ports to operate. Cost of this product is $220.

LG’s First Android Smartphone with QWERTY

LG today released their first Android-based smartphone LG’s first Android-powered smartphone comes only a week after the company announced that it would be introducing three new Windows Mobile smartphones in the next few weeks. LG GW620 is a QWERTY-slider that has a 3-inch touchscreen display with a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, Wi-Fi and GPS. Badly we have no information about this release date.

The Japanese KDDI has combined with Flower Robotics, working on a device called the Polaris, which consists of a cellphone and a robotic cradle. The robotic cradle is meant for charging the handset and main aim is to providing analysis to the data collected by the handset to improve the user’s lifestyle.
